The MESSENGERS International Mission School is a joint project launched by several communities in response to the urgent need to fulfill in our times Jesus’ missionary mandate: ‘Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation’ (Mark 16:15).
The School comprises 8 weeks of formation based on building a personal relationship with God and equipping participants for evangelisation and mission, including a 2-week mission trip.
This format is a follow-up to an international project that began in the 1990s under the name “School of Evangelisation and Christian Life” and has been continued in subsequent years by communities that grew out of that experience and that are the organizers of the current edition of the School.
The two-month Mission School experienced in an international community of believers is a time for participants to give a radical yes to God’s love and His invitation to intimacy. The fellowship of students and teachers, as well as the School’s curriculum offer an environment that fosters growth in Christian life and encourages participants to embrace God’s calling in their lives.
The School’s organizers and leaders have gone through the same formation, and the fruit of their lives – in some cases 30 years after they participated in the School – is a testimony to how much God can do in us and through us, if we let Him.
